The five horses will be trained by Dr Richard Newland. They have all been carefully selected by Richard and are an exciting mix of horses who can hopefully provide plenty of winners this summer!

Lord Schnapps
Finished second in a beginners chase in Ireland. He's a seven year old who will initially be going novice chasing.
Astromachia
A top class flat performer, rated 92 on the flat for Amanda Perrett, our five year old is by Sea The Stars. He'll be going novice hurdling.
Phoenix Dawn
Finished 2nd, 2nd & 4th in his last three starts. Previously trained by Louise Allen we can expect plenty of improvement in this exciting six year old. He'll start off over hurdles.
Blue Ribbon
An excitng five year old. Trained by Eoin Dyle in Ireland. He looks well handicapped and open to plenty of improvement. He'll go handicap hurdling.
Rebel Leader
Won a point to point in Ireland and is well bred. He needed hobday surgery and should benefit from the move to Dr Richard Newland's yard.
Dr Richard Newland
Dr Richard Newland is one of the most outstanding trainers in Britain.

He constantly has among the best strike rates of any British and Irish trainer with an incredible 22% strike rate over the past five seasons.

He looks set for another fantastic season this year.

His results aren't just about winning minor races. He has won many of the top national hunt races including The Imperial Cup, The Coral Cup and The Grand National.

What is particularly remarkable is that he has achieved success with horses that he's picked up for very modest prices at the sales.

Richard treats every horse as an individual and gives each horse a specific training programme from his new purpose build yard. Every horse goes out into the field each day, something Richard considers vital to maintaining the horses' health and happiness.
