Announcing: A Limited Series Presented by the Cinema Arts Centre Committee for Gender Awareness and Empowerment:
The Cinema Arts Centre Committee for Gender Awareness and Empowerment is dedicated to serving our entire community through inclusive programs and resources that educate, elevate, celebrate, and mobilize in support of transgender, non-binary, intersex individuals, and people of all genders. We believe that a society that recognizes the existence, dignity, and rights of all gender identities is one in which everyone is safer and more free.
We are presenting a special limited series for Fall 2025, featuring film screenings with discussions, live music, local artists, educational sessions, panel conversations, parties, and celebrations—all taking place right here at the Cinema Arts Centre.
Three of our programs are ON SALE NOW! The rest will be on sale soon. Watch our website!
On Wednesday, October 15th at 7 PM, don't miss your chance to see Juli Grey-Owens - Founder and Executive Director of Gender Equality New York Inc (GENY) - who will present The Language of Gender. Join us for a fact-filled, eye-opening presentation exploring gender diversity and the challenges faced by gender-expansive people. Juli will break down common myths, clear up confusion, and offer insight into living beyond the binary. Bring your questions - plenty of time will be set aside for open Q&A! CLICK HERE.
