It's bike riding weather!


Fall is in full swing with crisp, foggy mornings and warm afternoon breezes. It's perfect bike riding weather! There are several bike events happening in our community, be sure to check them out. Don't forget to check out our bike map here for the best routes around town. It is available in both English and Spanish.

Ride In Bicycle Show


Hosted by Living Above The Influence, the Ride In Bike Show is at the 16th Annual LATI Community Event, Saturday, October 8 from

12 - 3pm at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center. Bring your bicycle for judging and browse a collection of classic and unique bikes. Contest is for youth ages 12 to 19 years. All bikes are welcome. This is a family friendly event with BBQ, DJ, entertainment, kids zone, vendors, resources, free raffles and more. For more information, contact: 408-390-9012.

Ride Out the Drought


Silicon Valley Bike Coalition has teamed up with Valley Water to help educate Santa Clara County residents about the severe drought. 

Ride Out the Drought (#ROtD) is a free, month-long program that combines the joys and benefits of riding bikes with a fun way to learn about the county's water delivery system. The program runs from October 15th to November 12th. There are several routes in Morgan Hill to explore. Register for a chance to win gift cards and prizes here.

Safety Spotlight -

Tire Pressure


Having the correct tire pressure is crucial for a smooth ride. Higher air pressure lets your tires roll easier and faster. Check your tires for the recommended pressure. It's usually printed on the tire near the rim as a range. Keep in mind that temperature may affect your tire pressure as well. Don't forget to check your tire pressure before

each ride.
