GW Baseball
The GW baseball team had a great time at their scrimmage against the Brattleboro area Middle School on Friday. We are grateful to Coach Kevin Barth for his time and his commitment. "We seem to have a lot more fun than the other teams," said a player in the 8th grade.
Pizza Night!
The place to be on Tuesday evenings June - August is at Orchard Hill Breadworks! The Pizza Pavilion at Orchard Hill in Alstead, NH is a gathering place to celebrate and share all sorts of meals, but its chief use is to host benefit Pizza Nights throughout the summer.

Pizza night started in 2007 as a small gathering of friends and family, but now attracts hundreds of guests every week of the summer. Each summer, pizza night patrons help local non-profit groups raise over $20,000 while making invaluable connections with community members.
SAVE THE DATE:
Gathering Waters has been assigned to be the beneficiary on June 21!
Thank you to Noah Elbers and the staff at Orchard Hill for this opportunity.
In the next few weeks, we will be asking for volunteers for this (very fun) fundraiser. Stay tuned...

Our Summer Program is a perfect way to keep our Waldorf-inspired early grades curriculum going for the entire year.

Our Play (and Fun!) - based Summer Program will include:

  • Outdoor activities and games
  • Nature walks and water play
  • Nature-based arts & crafts
  • Experiences inspired by a Waldorf curriculum

Our Summer Program is modeled on the daily rhythm of our Lower School classrooms. Children will engage in free play, both outdoors and indoors; have circle time with a variety of seasonal verses, songs, and movement; listen to stories inspired by the Waldorf curriculum; engage in water play; use their hands for arts, crafts, and beeswax molding. Our students will spend lots of time outside and exploring the woods and the nature of Robin Hood park.

For our older students, during Arts & Crafts students will learn to knit and produce their own personal handwork creations. During Outdoor Games, children will be introduced to the basics of teamwork and collaboration through a number of social-based games. Our older students will also spend lots of time outside and exploring the woods and the nature of Robin Hood park.

Give your child a place to play and learn outdoors—join us at Gathering Waters!

Even though we are part of the NH public school system, we do not have access to their pool of substitute teachers, so we need to build our own. Please inquire HERE.
