CROATIAN EVANGELISTIC OUTREACH

Reaching Croatia for Christ - May 2025

WHERE THE RIVER FLOWS

There, I saw a stream flowing east from beneath the door of the temple and passing to the right of the altar on its south side. Everything would live where the river went. - Ezekiel 47:1, 9

WATER BAPTISM

This past Saturday, we baptised 14 people in Lake Jarun!

Several of them were from our Filipino group. While each of them has their own testimony of how they came to Christ, oftentimes their stories have similarities of great trial and hardship. They have a hard time finding well-paying jobs in the Philippines, which forces them to seek work overseas through various agencies. While the agencies do aid them in finding work and taking care of travel, legalities, etc., oftentimes, they also take advantage of the situation and leave them with very little to live on, or send home. The Filipino Story is often one of poverty, self-denial to help family, loneliness, and missing loved ones. Finding a church family is life-giving to them.

Five of our candidates were teenagers. Each of them has a powerful testimony about how God has turned their life upside down at camp, delivered them from fear, depression, anger, and pride. We are so proud of our youth and how they are pressing forward to seek all that God has for them.

Please keep our newly baptised members in your prayers so that they will continue walking in the power and freedom of the Holy Spirit.

CONFERENCES AND NEW CHURCHES

Conferences

In April our church had the great honor of hosting the Foursquare European Conference where approximately 15 European nations were represented.

Since there is not enough space in our auditorium to host a conference of this size, the conference was held at a hotel in Stubičke Toplice in the region of Zagorije (about 35 min from our church). What a wonderful time it was to worship God together and in unity seek his outpouring on all of Europe!

It is events like this to which pastors and leaders can come and see that no matter how small our churches may be, we are not alone! We have family!!!

At the end of this month we will be hosting our second Singles Conference. Singles can often be the heart and moving force behind many church ministries. This conference gives them a place and opportunity to fellowship and be encouraged in their current season.

CCE- Dubrovnik

We have some exicting news to share with you all. One of our deacons and his wife approached us a few months back with the news that they believe God has called them to plant a church in his hometown, Dubrovnik. We are so excited to be finally planning our first church plant. We are in the planning and training phase right now but our projected timeframe is end of 2026 or in 2027.

The Filipino leadership team that we've been training is also opening up a CCE International Gathering on Saturdays at our facility. Which is an exciting opportunity to again infiltrate the international community with Gospel.

We are also are planning to go back to two services (a morning one and an evening one) in the Fall because of a lack of space.

Would you keep us in your prayer regarding these exciting new challenges?
