Winter Is Coming!

Time To
Take a few steps now to prevent damage to your camper during cold weather:
  • Drain your waste water tanks and pour nontoxic RV/Marine antifreeze in your tanks. Also pour some in your sinks and showers to prevent the water in the P-traps from freezing.
  • Drain your fresh water tanks (storage tank & water heater tank) as well as all your water lines.
  • Remove all food that may draw bugs and mice, and all liquids that may freeze and burst.
  • Place ant and roach traps throughout your camper. Place peppermint granules where food and garbage was stored to help deter mice.
  • Place silica dry-packs around camper to help reduce moisture that may develop from the daily temperature changes.
  • Make sure your tires are properly inflated so they will be ready for spring.
  • Do some 'spring cleaning' such as cleaning the fridge (leave the door propped open to prevent mold and mildew), remove sheets and towels for laundering, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and wipe down surfaces.

Volunteers needed for Campground Cleanup Weekends!

Winter takes quite a toll on the grounds here and each year volunteers pitch in to restore campsites, remove limbs and fallen trees, spruce up fire pits and generally make sites inviting for guests. It's a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people and visit with old acquaintances.

You'll be rewarded with a hot lunch at the clubhouse as well!

Volunteers will meet on the clubhouse deck before 9 am on the cleanup day. Mike will head up the event.

Some tools will be provided but volunteers are welcome to bring their own. Gloves are recommended.
Need to Schedule an Event?
To schedule an event, send an email to the calendar events address, include the dates and at least basic info for the event. If there are no conflicts, it will put it on the calendar.
The pool is now closed for the winter. It will re-open in the spring for another fun-filled season!
The Hot Tub is open all year to relax, soak, and chat with old friends and new. It is closed daily between 8 and 9am for cleaning and maintenance.
Every Friday night at 7pm, gather at the fire pit behind the game room for Meet & Greet. Punch and light snacks are provided.
Cameras and video equipment use are restricted. This includes smartphone cameras. The capture and use of inappropriate images without consent of all parties involved is a violation of campground policy.
Bookmark it, make it a favorite and check it often.
The weeks and weekends are simply fabulous here.
