The long weekend saw your favorite Treefrog staff returning to work with lots to do! New arrivals seemed to crop up on the loading dock daily, and new announcements seemed to just keep rolling in. We've got new First Legion figures in stock, and new Thomas Gunn Miniatures upcoming releases.

As if all that weren't enough, there are new consignment items for you to browse, and our show preparations continue apace.

In the Treefrog Team's continuing efforts to explore new areas of the Hobby and expand we have added a new event to our line-up!
We will have tents set up at the WWII Days at Midway Village Museum in Rockford, IL Saturday September 24th and Sunday September 25th.  Aron & Jesse will be taking on this show while Pete & Julie are in Schaumburg at the Chicago Toy Soldier Show!
This event features over 60 Authentic Military Vehicles with 1200 Reenactors on site, battles with pyrotechnics & more!

News from First Legion - Recently Arrived!
First Legion VIK006
All new figures from First Legion have arrived, including the much-anticipated Vikings and the second Vietnam-era tank! Also arrived are the additional Swiss mercenaries, just in time to take part in the pivotal moments at the Battle of Pavia, where they were unfortunately defeated by their bitter rivals, the German Landsknechts. The fighting French sledge from Napoleon's desperate retreat from Russia is here too, and would make a splendid centerpiece for any display or diorama of that event.

This week's featured item was brought to mind by the forthcoming King & Country World of Dickens figures. Jack the Ripper might have been anyone, from an immigrant fresh off the boat to a landed aristocrat or any walk of life in between. This gentleman from Napoleonic era England might make a fine addition to a street scene. His dress is years out of date for 1888 England, but an impoverished nobleman could make the perfect suspect for the nefarious Ripper. W. Britain 36051 - British Lt. General Lord Hill is also priced to move at just $10.00!
