Sheltering Veterans Row: How LAHSA Led The Effort To Bring 80 Heroes Inside
In a collaborative and multi-agency effort, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority outreach teams helped shelter more than 80 people from the Veterans Row encampment near the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs complex.

MacArthur Park Closure: More Than 300 People Were Brought Inside
From January to mid-October, LAHSA outreach teams, in partnership with PATH, developed relationships with people living in MacArthur Park with the goal of placing them into shelter. Ultimately, 326 people were moved indoors from Jan. 1 to Oct. 15, including 36 walk-ups from other areas on the 15th.

Dan Ornelas: A Life of Service
When he retired from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority at the end of October at the age of 62, former Homelessness Engagement Team (HET) member Dan Ornelas left a lasting mark. His devotion to a life of service inspired countless LAHSA colleagues around him.
