COVID VACCINES AVAILABLE for Ages 12-15

Last week, Governor Walz announced multiple Covid-19 regulation changes. However, the guidance has not changed for schools until the end of the school year. We will continue to mask indoors and outdoors, stay physically-distanced and practice hand hygiene.

The Covid-19 vaccines are now available for children ages 12-15 years old. It is important to get them vaccinated for their health and the health of the community. Typically, children have mild symptoms or are asymptomatic but they can still become severely ill. Unvaccinated people can also spread it to others who are not eligible or are unable to be vaccinated. The more people who get the virus, the more it can mutate.
