Security Update

As part of ongoing security enhancements, Heilicher has hired a plain-clothed, armed security guard who will be present during school hours from now until the end of this school year. Please know that there is no new threat to Heilicher. This additional security measure has been in the works for some time.

Our guard is Mike Woods, of Elite Protective Services, who is a highly experienced, U.S. military-trained guard, who happens to have lived in Israel and speaks several languages, including Hebrew, Arabic, Russian and English. Mike will work in coordination with Barry Family Campus security (EPG), but will be dedicated to the Heilicher school spaces both in and outside the building. Expect to see him at arrival, dismissal, all-school events, and patrolling in areas Heilicher uses.

If you have any questions, please direct them to Rafi Forbush , Safety & Security Coordinator and Physical Education Teacher.
