Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Thoughts for Rosh Hodesh Kislev

Today and tomorrow we celebrate Rosh Hodesh, the beginning of the month of Kislev. As the days grow shorter and darker, many traditions celebrate light, including ours. While we will illuminate the nights physically during the eight days of Hanukah, just a few weeks from now, this is a good opportunity to think about the light within us. Just walk through the classrooms here at Heilicher and you will see the bright lights of our students and teachers, lighting up their rooms with inquisitive conversations, generous actions, and creative endeavors. How do you light up the world?
