Join us at Boston College for the third annual Global Researchers Advancing Catholic Education (G.R.A.C.E.) international colloquium in 2026. Hosted from Sunday, 28 June to Tuesday, 30 June 2026, the G.R.A.C.E. Colloquium theme is: "Cultivating Hearts & Minds: Formative Education in Catholic Schools." Register to attend today!
Leading up to the Colloquium, the Roche Center is hosting a virtual lecture series on the Colloquium theme. There are two lectures remaining, including our next lecture on Tuesday, February 17. Visit the G.R.A.C.E. webpage to learn more and to access the Zoom links for these lectures.

Attending the NCEA 2026 Convention in Minneapolis? Join the Roche Center at Risen Christ Catholic School!
The Roche Center is excited to welcome program participants, alumni, and friends of the Center for an afternoon gathering during the NCEA Annual Convention in Minneapolis this April!
Risen Christ Catholic School, a partner school in our Two-Way Immersion Network for Catholic Schools (TWIN-CS), is hosting friends of the Center for an immersive experience in the classroom as students engage in dual language learning. Attendees will also have opportunities for a school tour and to meet with President Michael Rogers, Executive Leadership Academy member, Principal Carmen Grace Poppert, and members of school leadership with a reception to follow.

Superintendent PLC Spring Retreat | | | | |
Calling all Catholic school superintendents! Join us for a spiritual retreat at the Bethany Retreat Center just north of Tampa, FL from March 24–26, 2026.
Led by Sister Barbara Quinn, RSCJ, of Boston College’s Clough School of Theology & Ministry, this gathering offers a sacred space for rest, reflection, and community prayer. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Catapult Learning, the retreat experience for superintendents—including private accommodations, meals, and Mass—is provided entirely complimentary in gratitude for your dedicated service.
Attendees are only responsible for their personal travel to and from Tampa.

The 10-month, cohort-based formation experience for Catholic school leaders and senior administrators serving with active boards develops a close community of peers through:
- In-person kickoff at Boston College: July 7-9, 2026
- Monthly virtual cohort sessions Sept 2026 – May 2027
- Individual coaching and tight-knit peer learning communities
- Mid-year, in-person retreat: January 2027
- Capstone Presentations: May 2027

The Board Development Institute (BDI), the nation’s most comprehensive Catholic board formation program, equips Catholic school leaders and board members with the skills, formation, and strategies needed to build high-functioning, mission-driven boards. The next cohort launches in October 2026.
Supported through a generous grant from the Healey Education Foundation, BDI goes beyond the basics, empowering school leaders and board members to:
- Strengthen and advance a school’s Catholic mission through effective governance, meetings, and committee practices
- Recruit board members with the talent, experience, and expertise schools need today and into the future
- Ensure long-term board vitality through intentional recruitment and succession planning
- Use key performance indicators to support financial health, mission clarity, and competitive strength
- Support institutional advancement across enrollment, development, marketing, and donor engagement

The year-long Superintendent PLC consists of two in-person retreats and monthly calls on a host of topics that address critical issues facing Catholic school superintendents. Throughout the time together, superintendents engage in collegial and challenging growth experiences, small group discussions, and problem-based learning activities.
The Superintendent PLC currently consists of 20 superintendents from across the United States, from the Archdioceses of Seattle to Miami. The Superintendent PLC is offered in partnership with Fr. Ronald Nuzzi of Catapult Learning.
| | | Bilingual Education Certificate (BEC) | | | | |
Do you want to increase your instructional practices for language acquisition? Do you want to brush up on foundations and methods of bilingual education?
The Bilingual Education Certificate (BEC) is an instructional series designed for Catholic school teachers who wish to earn a certificate from the Boston College Lynch School of Education and Human Development. Together in community, a cohort of Catholic school educators takes four online courses over the span of one calendar year — one course per season.
Open to all Catholic school educators and leaders, and especially educators in our Two-Way Immersion Network for Catholic Schools (TWIN-CS), we hope that you will join us for this learning opportunity.
