This small, multicolored caricature of Franklin D. Roosevelt is made from a Brazil nut, bean pods, pipe cleaners, and other items. It was presented to President Roosevelt by Celeste’s of Tampa, Florida.

Having approved Operation Green, a plan to subjugate the young republic through disinformation and military action, Hitler invaded and occupied Czechoslovakia on March 15, 1939. This video is part of our series: Investigating the Holocaust.

Chemists use the periodic table of the elements to classify, systematize and compare all of the many forms of chemical behavior. The FDR Library devised an interactive periodic table of the New Deal to serve the same function for the study of New Deal history.
