The SEDC Foundation, the charitable educative arm of the Southern Economic Development Council, is set to host a silent auction at the SEDC Annual Conference in Williamsburg on August 14. The Silent Auction is a SEDC tradition, and is an important opportunity for members to support the Foundation's mission to accelerate professional development via scholarship awards.
Annually, the SEDC Foundation awards several individual grants to members that display talent, commitment, and desire to further develop the skills and capacities necessary to forward economic development in their communities, states, and in SEDC's 17-state footprint. The SEDC Foundation's ability to provide these funds is made entirely possible by donations and contributions to the Silent Auction at the SEDC Annual Conference. The Silent Auction serves as the Foundation’s primary fundraiser and leaders are encouraged to participate to invest in & support the next generation of practitioners.
Please donate an item for auction. Previous auction items have included trips, hotel stays, concert tickets, art, pottery, golf experiences, FDI trips, sports memorabilia, bourbon, clothing, jewelry, electronics, items unique to a community/state, and more.
If you would like to donate to the 2023 Silent Auction, please send your item to the address provided.
