Sunday, October 19

Sunday, October 19th, 5:30-7:30pm, Fellowship Hall. Parenting teens through high-stress seasons—exams, transitions, social pressures, can be overwhelming. In this interactive workshop, you'll learn practical tools to support your teenager’s mental and emotional wellness while also modeling healthy habits yourself.

Dr. Chinwé will teach strategies for helping your teen slow down, manage anxious thoughts, set healthy boundaries, and find steady emotional anchors during uncertain times. You’ll also gain insight into how your own regulation and responses impact your child’s ability to cope. This session will equip you with concrete, compassionate ways to foster calm, connection, and resilience in your home, especially when things feel most intense.

We will gather for dinner together as a family with parents and youth before splitting up in 3 groups (parents, High School Youth and Middle School Youth) to have different conversations about the healthy habits in our lives.

Invite all any and all who might benefit from this conversation. You'll leave with concrete strategies to foster calm, connection, and confidence, both in your teen and in yourself.

This is a free event but registration is required to get a headcount for dinner.

Tuesday, October 21

Tuesday, October 21st, 7-8:30pm, Fellowship Hall. When women come together with open hearts and open hands, magic happens. This gathering isn’t just a night of wreath making. It’s a chance to create, connect, and be uplifted. Join us for encouragement, laughter, and the warmth of community. Let’s anchor ourselves in truth, creativity, and the joy of being together this season.

Hear from guest speaker Jessica Mathisen, craft your own wreath, connect with women anchored in faith

Come as you are. Leave encouraged, inspired, and wrapped in community.

Click on button to register. Suggested donation of $30 to cover cost of craft. For more information reach out to Regina Bivek: 678-763-6285 or regina.bivek@gmail.com..
