Congratulations to all of our students who made Youth Council this year! We hope you take this role seriously and are able to attend meetings regularly. If you did not make it this year, DON'T WORRY! All students are invited to sit in on youth council meetings and share their opinions! Those who are have been elected to the council will be the only ones able to cast official votes on the decisions that are made on the youth council.

First Youth Council Meeting will be next Wednesday, September 28th right after the lesson! (@ 7:30pm)

Fall Retreat 2022

November 4-6, 2022

This year for our fall retreat we will be heading back to Ocoee Ridge Camp! Our youth group will be joined by Signal Crest UMC, Christ UMC, and a group from the Bethlehem Center! During the weekend students will have the opportunity to either play paintball or do the high ropes course! There will be worship and speakers throughout the weekend! We will only be able to take 16 students on this trip so if you already know you want to attend you need to let us know! You can reserve your spot with a non-refundable $30 deposit. The retreat will cost $150. Scholarships are available for those who may need assistance! More info coming soon!!

Free Meals Campaign

Each year we ask families of the church to donate money towards our Sunday & Wednesday meals. This is a lot easier than asking parents to sign up to bring breakfasts and dinners and it is cheaper as well.

If 36 of our youth's families donate $150 then we will have enough money to pay for ALL of our meals for the entire school year. Give the full amount or give part of the amount monthly or in whatever way you would like. Some choose to give $50 per month for 3 months or $25 a month for six months. Any amount is helpful.

So far, we have raised $1,864.25!! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! To give, simply write a check, write "Free Meals Campaign" or "Youth Meals" in the memo line and drop it in the offering plate on Sunday or send it with your child on Wednesday night.
