The STEAM Weekly Volume 10, 2022-2023

STEAM Parents and Students,

First quarter is in the books! I hope you can enjoy some time as a family this week. Thanks for a great walk to school day and fundraiser month! We will get our totals out ASAP to see if we reached our 25,000 goal, or about $75 a family.

The parking lots will begin being repaved over fall break. All parking lots will be closed except for the Walnut grove lot.

Happy Fall Break!

Thank you for your support and CAREing Differently!

Super Study Skills:

ORGANIZATION

-Designate a place in your home for studying.

-Make sure your child has all supplies needed, at home and at school.

-Encourage your child to keep all important dates in the agenda book or personal calendar.

CONCENTRATION

-Empty stomachs make it hard to concentrate- have healthy snacks on hand.

-Choose the time to study and complete homework when your child is most focused. Is it after school? After dinner?

-Encourage your child to get the most difficult assignments finished first. He/she will be the freshest at that time.

More suggestions next time!
