Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Safe Haven Center!

After a nearly 10-year campaign, the Safe Haven Center is officially open!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this long-awaited Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. We will begin welcoming residents on Monday, June 6th. We are thrilled to finally open our doors to more survivors of domestic abuse and ensure that the resources they need are available under one roof.
Thank you to our dedicated Board of Directors and staff for their remarkable work over the years to make this dream building become a reality. Thank you to the Upper Gwynedd Township for welcoming us into your community with open arms.
And, thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Thank you, especially to Tammy Reid, who flew back from Kansas City to be with us. And to surprise us with the announcement that "Coach Reid and I would love to write a check for a $100,000 as soon as I get home." This additional donation leaves us needing just about $300,000 more to reach the campaign goal of $3.5 million.
Thank you to everyone who helped us get to this point, it truly takes a village. You help make our work possible!

In addition to Tammy and Andy's generous pledge, Ambler Savings Bank has graciously offered a match grant challenge! Ambler Savings Bank will match any donations made to the Capital Campaign between now and June 30th up to $5,000!

One of the highlights of the new building is the Todd David Satell Memorial Playground. Children are often the silent, forgotten faces of domestic violence. The freedom to play and have fun will bring a sense of normalcy to an otherwise difficult time. All children staying at the Safe Haven Center will be able to use the new playground.

Thank you to Penny Satell Berman for your dedication to the Todd David Satell Memorial Playground, the Safe Haven Center, and to Laurel House!
