Fleischmann Estate Items Now Available

at Everything But The House

When Building Value was selected to deconstruct portions of the historic Fleischmann Estate in Indian Hill, our crew knew they were salvaging something special. The estate — once home to Charles Fleischmann III, great-grandson of the co-founder of Cincinnati's Fleischmann Yeast Co. — was filled with art, lighting, and decor that reflected decades of taste, travel, and heritage, including original works by celebrated Cincinnati artist Ted Gantz.

Most of these pieces found new homes through our retail store and the dedicated Fleischmann Estate Room. But a handful of one-of-a-kind treasures remained, and rather than let them sit, we've listed them individually through Everything But The House — now featured as part of their Summer Landmark Sale, a seasonal showcase of EBTH's most exceptional curated items.

Antique Italian Terracotta Olive Oil Jars (1882)

A pair of monumental terracotta vessels bearing the impressed mark "Fabbrica in Castel Viscardo di Borri Massarano, 1882," hailing from a region of Umbria renowned for centuries-old pottery traditions. Each features hand-carved diamond crosshatch banding and a weathered patina that tells the story of more than a century of age. Sold individually.

Cast Aluminum Dragon Fountain Element by Ted Gantz

An extraordinary sculptural fountain element featuring interwoven dragons — scaled, maned, and richly patinated — forming a continuous ring reminiscent of the ouroboros, a symbol of eternity and renewal. A true one-of-a-kind from Gantz's body of work.

E.F. Caldwell Mirrored Two-Arm Candle Wall Sconces

A pair of sconces combining old-world elegance with coastal flair. Each features a shimmering, shell-motif backplate finished in a weathered silver tone, paired with sweeping brass candle arms.

Bronze Satyr Garden Statues by Colin Colahan

A pair of cast bronze statues by celebrated Australian sculptor Colin Colahan (1897–1987), whose work is held in state galleries across Australia. Each figure depicts a mythical satyr holding a vessel aloft, finished with a rich, weathered patina suited for gardens, courtyards, or fountains.

These pieces represent the heart of what we do: preserving craftsmanship and giving architectural treasures a second life. The auction runs through June 28th as part of EBTH's Summer Landmark Sale, with each item listed individually.
