Secondary Transition Events

Amidst the bustling rhythm of the current school year, we extend a heartfelt welcome to all our wonderful families, students and staff. We are excited to share details about our upcoming transition events designed for Ferris High School and our feeder pattern community. These events play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enriching journey for everyone involved with an aim to serve students and families to bridge middle school and high school and to support transitions to post-secondary endeavors.

For our families, transition events are more than just orientations; they are an embodiment of our commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all. For families, these events provide a chance to get acquainted with our school culture, meet our dedicated educators, and gain insight into the exciting secondary opportunities and experiences for their children. Parents and guardians will discover the value of meaningful engagement and communication with our staff. These interactions foster a sense of partnership between the school and home, a partnership that is essential to a student’s success.

For our dedicated staff, these transition events are an opportunity to come together as a team and connect with families and our students to support a school culture where success thrives. The camaraderie and shared purpose that emerge from these gatherings strengthen our commitment to delivering the best possible experiences for all Ferris High School students and families.

As the school year develops, please keep a look out for specific details about upcoming transition events to attend with your family and student and/or to support as a Ferris staff member. Upcoming events include:
