The SAIA expresses its deepest sympathy to the Trotsky family on the loss of Martin "Marty" Trotsky.

In 1951, Trotsky founded Waco Scaffolding and Equipment Company in Colorado. He served as the fifth president of the former Scaffolding Industry Association. "Marty made a great contribution to the scaffold industry in general and to our Association, particularly in its formative years," Steve Smith of Edge Scaffolding commented.

Trotsky is survived by his wife, Gloria; children Linda and Jim; grandchildren Kelli, Kevin, Michelle, and Kari; and great-grandchildren Levi, Elias, Isaac, Aviva, and Maddox.
