This scholarship awards up to $2,500 a year for college to campers who meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Have successfully completed at least one Witherbee Wilderness Backpacking trip

JBBBSLA Scholarship
This scholarship awards up to $2,500 a year for college to Littles (Mentoring program) who meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Have been matched for a minimum of two years (current matches) OR whose match lasted at least two years and ended after the Little's 12th birthday (closed matches)

- Have a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Demonstrate financial need

Rising Leaders Scholarship
This scholarship awards up to $2,500 a year for college to campers who meet ALL of the following requirements:

Have successfully completed three full summer sessions. This must include serving as a LIT for two years OR a LIT for one year and a Teen Camp or Explorations camper for one session. The third year can include attending any other summer session (excluding Witherbee).
- Are planning to attend a four-year college full-time.
- Have a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Demonstrate financial need

Asian American Architects/Engineers Association Scholarship
Each year, the Asian-American Architects and Engineers Foundation offers scholarships to full-time students pursuing a career in the AEC Industry (architecture, engineering, construction, etc.), who have demonstrated a measurable level of involvement/service to the Asian-Pacific Islander community, and are a student member of AAa/e.
Eligibility:
You must be full-time student working towards a degree or interested in one of the following
professions:

Across Cultures Scholarship
Getting the most out of life requires both the courage to explore the world, and the kindness and openness to welcome and accept all those you meet along the way.
One student or graduate who demonstrates a trailblazing spirit and passion for educational exploration will be awarded $1,000 to help them continue on their path to travel and learn.
This may include philanthropic work abroad, participation in science fairs, immersion in new languages, and anything else that demonstrates an eagerness to explore and learn!

Create-a-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest
Students compete for this award by submitting a photo, piece of artwork, or computer graphic to be used on the front of a greeting card. The winner will receive $10,000, and the winner's school will also get an award of $1,000.
Eligibility:
Must be 14 years or older at time of entry and be enrolled in high school, college, university, or homeschool.

The California Undocumented Higher Education Coalition seeks to inform current students, prospective students, high school counselors, college advisors, and community members of the opportunities and resources available to undocumented students in California.

The Dream.US National Scholarship
TheDream.US National Scholarships are for highly motivated DREAMers who want to get a college education but are unable to afford the cost. The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $14,500 for an associate degree and $29,000 for a bachelor’s degree at one of our Partner Colleges. You can renew the Award each year so long as you meet the continuing eligibility criteria.
Eligibility:
- Have graduated or will graduate with a high school or GED diploma or a community college associate degree by the end of the 2023 Spring term;
- Have a current DACA or TPS authorization or would have met the DACA eligibility criteria
- You qualify for in-state tuition at one of our public Partner Colleges (or are admitted to one of our private Partner Colleges)

Fontana Transport INC. Scholars Program
The $5,000 scholarship is for first-generation high school seniors who need financial assistance and are passionate about furthering their education as a means to help out their family, community, and themselves.
Eligibility:
- The student applicant does not have to be a U.S. citizen, but a minimum 3.5 weighted GPA is required.
- Graduating high school seniors must also be planning to pursue a full-time undergraduate degree in the United States at any 4-year accredited university by fall 2024 and plan to study in any of the following concentrations:
- Transportation Management
- Math
- Science
- Engineering (Any field of engineering)
- Architecture
- Environmental Design
- Pre-Med
- Psychology
- Spanish Language/Literature

The Brawerman Leadership Institute
The Brawerman Leadership Institute of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles is proud to announce that $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 annual scholarship for up to 4 years) are now available to a select group of Jewish graduating seniors who will be a freshman at an accredited 4-year college/university in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Eligibility:
- The student must be a leader, actively participate in community service, and be committed to the Jewish community of Los Angeles.
- The applicant must have a cumulative high school GPA of at least a 3.5 (un-weighted) and demonstrate financial need.
- Legal resident of LA County for a minimum of three years as of September 2023.
- Parent(s)/guardian(s) must be permanent residents of Los Angeles.

Jewish Vocational Services
The JVS Scholarship Program provides qualified Jewish students whose primary residence is in the Greater Los Angeles area with need-based financial aid, in the belief that education represents the first step to career success.
Eligibility:
- Must identify as Jewish
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be a permanent and legal resident of Los Angeles County for a minimum of three years
- Must be a U.S. citizen or documented legal permanent U.S. resident with a Green Card
- Must be planning to attend an accredited public or private college, university, or vocational school in the U.S.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 units per term
- Must maintain a minimum 2.7 GPA (per term) for Undergraduate Students or a minimum 3.0 GPA (per term) for Graduate Students
- Must have a demonstrated and verifiable financial need, including FAFSA

League Foundation
Since 1996, LEAGUE Foundation has awarded 195 college scholarships totaling $423,500 to self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBTQ+) graduating US High School Students and or US Military Base High School students.
Eligibility:
- Be an openly self identified member of the LGBTQ+ Community.
- Be graduating from high school in the year they apply for a scholarship.
- Be a United States Citizen or be a legal immigrant.
- Be attending an accredited college, university, or vocational school within the United States or Canada. Proof of acceptance is required.
- Provide an OFFICIAL copy of their high school transcript showing a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better using a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
- Complete 2 personal essays
- Provide at least 2 letters of recommendation from non-family members.
- Prepare a detailed list of community involvement.
- Sign an acknowledgement form agreeing to the outlined terms and conditions of the application.

Edison Scholars Program
Edison Scholars was created to recognize the makers of tomorrow – students with big dreams to help power the future. The program awards college scholarships to help fuel your passion for making a difference by studying science, technology, engineering and math.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Eligibility:
- Be a high school senior with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.

Live in Southern California Edison’s (SCE) service territory.
- Plan to attend a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Plan to enroll in an eligible major in computer and information services, engineering, engineering technology, management information systems, mathematics, natural resources and conservation, or physical sciences.
- Demonstrate financial need.

McDonald's HACER Scholarship
McDonald's is giving away scholarships worth up to $100,000.
Eligibility:
- Must be a current high school senior who is eligible to attend a two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school.
- Must be a legal U.S. resident.
- Must be less than 21 years of age.
- Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA.
- Must be of Hispanic/Latino heritage.
*Note: Hispanic/Latino is an ethnic category, not a racial category; student applicants may be of any race. Applicants must be from a family that came from at least one of these countries: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Spain, Uruguay, or Venezuela.

Actuarial Diversity Scholarship
The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity within the profession through an annual scholarship program for Black/African American, Latinx, Native North American, and Pacific Islander students. The scholarship award recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree that may lead to a career in the actuarial profession. Scholarships range from $1,000-$4,000.
Eligibility:
- Must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the following minority groups:
- Black/African American
- Latinx
- Native North American
- Pacific Islander.
- Enrolling as or enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a U.S. accredited educational institution.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), emphasis on math or actuarial courses.
- Entering college freshmen must have a minimum ACT math score of 28 or SAT math score of 620.
- Intent on pursuing a career in the actuarial profession.

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation
The Truman Scholarship is meant to celebrate and prepare the nation's next generation of public service leaders. Scholars receive up to $30,000 for graduate school as well as access to extensive Scholar programming, priority admission and financial support from public service graduate programs, advising and mentoring from other public service leaders, and preferred hiring with the federal government.
Eligibility:
- US Citizens, US National residents of American Samoa, or expecting their citizenship by the date of the award;
- Currently enrolled at a US-based accredited institution;
- In their penultimate year of school (for candidates graduating in four years or more) or in their final year of school (for candidates graduating in three years or fewer);
- Nominated by either their current institution of study or their former institution of study for transfer or community college applicants. Schools are limited to four nominees plus three additional transfer nominations; and,
- Planning to attend graduate school in pursuit of a career in public service. The Foundation encourages time between undergraduate and graduate school, so candidates need not commit to going immediately.

Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Scholarship
The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities.
Eligibility:
- Sophomore Status – Be a current student at an accredited U.S. community college or two-year institution with sophomore status by January 1, 2024, or a recent graduate (since spring 2019).
- Fall College Enrollment– Plan to enroll full-time in a baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university in fall 2024.
- GPA– Have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.50 or better on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
- Demonstrate unmet financial need –We will consider applicants with a maximum annual gross income of $95,000. During the selection process, the Foundation will conduct a full financial review which will take into account all income and assets of the student and the student’s parents.
- No previous enrollment or attendance at a four-year institution – Students who have attended a four-year institution in the past are not eligible for this scholarship.
- If you started at a four-year institution, but did not complete a semester of full-time study, then you may be eligible. Please contact us to verify your eligibility.
- Students who have already transferred to a four-year institution or plan to transfer to start during the spring 2023 semester are also not eligible for this scholarship.

eQuality Scholarships for Community College Transfer Students
Applicant must:
- Demonstrated service to the LGBTQ +community.
- Applicants of all sexual orientations and gender identities are eligible.

Be a resident of or attend a community college in northern or central California but may study elsewhere (see map for specific counties);
- Have graduated or expect to graduate from community college between 1 Jul 2019 and 30 Jun 2024; and
- Plan to attend or began attending a U.S. accredited 4-year college or university for the first time in 2024.
In 2024, we expect to award one or more of these scholarships. In 2023, we received 14 applications for these scholarships.

AWS National Scholarship
The AWS Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It supports programs to ensure the growth and development of the welding industry through research and educational opportunities. Our industry depends upon education that prepares the next generation to meet the challenges ahead.
Eligibility Overview:
- Two letters of recommendations are required.
- Applicant must have an official transcript set my email or mail directly from the school or third-party transcript provider.
- Some National Scholarships require demonstrated financial need, which means the cost of attendance exceeds the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as found on the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR). The SAR must be submitted in addition to cost of attendance documentation to be eligible for these scholarships.

Some scholarships require or have a preference for applicants to be a member of AWS. To apply for an AWS student membership, please visit the Student Membership page.
- Students who are currently enrolled in vocational schools, technical colleges, community colleges, or universities should apply if they meet the needed criteria.

WHVACR Scholarship
The HVACR Tech Launch Program is a comprehensive online HVACR education program encompassing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
HVACRedu.net, founded in 2000, provides consulting and online access to complete, comprehensive, and growing online educational programs, recognized by the leading experts in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Building Performance industries and utility companies as the primary online education resource. Quality education, student success, and exceptional customer service are the primary objectives.
Qualifications:
- Open to females currently enrolled in a college or trade school preparing them to enter into the HVACR industry.
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Completed Application & Essay. Minimum of 500 words answering questions below
Deadline: Any application before June 1st will be eligible for our 2024 scholarships. Any applications received afterwards will be entered for the following year. Winners are announced sometime between July & August of every year.

Berkshire Woodworkers Guide Scholarship Fund
Scholarships may be used to attend schools, conferences, classes, workshops and other events that meet the approval of the Guild’s scholarship review committee. In general, any program that contributes to the education of the applicant in the area of woodworking will qualify. Preference is given for long-term, continuous programs that lead to certification or a degree in the profession.

The Bank of America Student Leadership Program
As a Student Leader, you will participate in an eight-week paid internship at a local nonprofit organization where you will learn first-hand about the needs of your community and the critical role nonprofits play. In addition, you will learn valuable civic, social, and business leadership skills. Each Student Leader will attend the Student Leaders Summit held in Washington, D.C. where you will learn how government, business and the nonprofit sector work together to address critical community needs.
Eligibility:
- Currently be a junior or senior in high school
- Be able to participate in an 8-week paid internship at a local nonprofit organization and work 35 hours a week
- Be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship through the end of September 2023
- Be able to participate in a week-long Student Leaders Summit in Washington, DC (July 17-24, 2023) (All expenses paid. This week will be part of your 8-week experience.)
- Be a student in good standing at your school
- Obtain a letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, or school administrator
- Bank of America employees or members of their immediate family (e.g., children, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc.) are NOT eligible to apply.

Jewish Free Loan Association
JFLA offers INTEREST-FREE loans to full-time students of all faiths in L.A. or Ventura County enrolled in undergraduate, graduate or vocational programs.
- Loans up to $10,000 per year are available for:
