Joseph's Message of the Week
Welcome to CEO Update for October 16, 2025!
This week, we are diving deep into the core engineering that gives our catamarans their signature performance. We’re excited to share the fourth part of our series, "What Makes Twin Vee the Best Riding Boat on the Water," where we detail the science behind our smooth ride.
Additionally, we are proud to introduce our new Human Resources Manager, Berwyn Holder, in this week’s Employee Spotlight. Berwyn shares his impressions of the Twin Vee culture and his mission to support our growing team.
Finally, our Dealer Spotlight features Boater's World Marine Centers here in Florida.
Have a great weekend, everyone! Feel free to use #twinvee on social media and share your adventures on the water.
| | | Part IV: The Science Behind Twin Vee's Smooth Ride | | |
Welcome to our fourth installment of "What Makes Twin Vee the Best Riding Boat on the Water?", a weekly feature where we explore why Twin Vee’s catamarans outperform the competition. Our focus is on the quantifiable benefits that matter most to the Twin Vee community and prospective customers.
This week, we are delving into the very heart of what makes our boats exceptional: The Science Behind Twin Vee's Smooth Ride.
At the core of a catamaran's hydrodynamic superiority is the separation between its two hulls. Unlike monohulls that displace water centrally and rely on keel depth and hull shape for stability and lift, twin-hull boats utilize dual displacement pathways that work in tandem to create both dynamic lift and aerodynamic effects. The tunnel, or the area between the two hulls, is crucial to this process.
| |
Twin Vee power catamarans are specifically designed to harness the phenomenon of Kinetic Fluid Induction, producing the driest and smoothest ride of any boat in their class. As a Twin Vee moves through the water, the lifting strakes on the inside of each hull elevate water towards the top of the tunnel while simultaneously pushing it inward to form two distinct, counter-flowing vortexes.
As these vortexes develop, the unique Twin Vee hull design actively aerates them with small air bubbles. These air bubbles are then compressed at an increasing rate as the vortexes move down the tunnel. It is the kinetic energy stored in these compressed air bubbles that generates the unparalleled smooth, stable ride our customers experience.
| | |
Twin Vee engineers carefully tune the tunnel height, hull spacing (beam-to-length ratio), and deadrise angle to create an optimal pressure differential within this tunnel. As water flows between the hulls at speed, it accelerates and experiences a decrease in pressure. This pressure differential is fundamental to the kinetic fluid induction, generating vertical lift and significantly softening wave impact. The result is a ride that glides across chop rather than harshly slamming through it.
Furthermore, the trailing surfaces of the Twin Vee hulls are specifically engineered to optimize propulsion efficiency. They facilitate the discharge of kinetic energy and air bubbles from the counter-rotating vortices upon exiting astern, providing the propellers with a steady flow of super-clean, highly ordered water.
This thoughtful design ensures that the scientific principles at play not only contribute to ride comfort but also enhance our boats' overall performance.

Refurb, Repower, or Upgrade Your Twin Vee!
You're invited to upgrade, repower, or refurbish your Twin Vee via our trade-in program!
We will evaluate your current Twin Vee, make you a cash offer, and, working hand-in-hand with our dealer network, move you into a larger Twin Vee or one of our newest models. If you want a fresh start, we’ll guide you into the latest STX or GFX2 series; if you love your hull, we can refurbish your existing boat with new interiors and upholstery, updated gelcoat/eco colorways, current electronics, and a full repower.
To begin, please submit your information to info@twinvee.com or use this link to start the evaluation. Be sure to include several photos of your current boat (exterior, helm, engines, hours if available, and any areas you’d like us to consider) and attach or reference images of the model you’d like to acquire so we can align on the best path forward.
With demand for pre-owned Twin Vees strong and factory capacity available now, this is the best time to step into your next Twin Vee! Our team is looking forward to helping you make it happen.

Berwyn Holder
Human Resources Manager
This week, Twin Vee's Employee Spotlight is on Berwyn Holder, the company's Human Resources Manager. We asked him to talk about his experience working in Human Resources and his impressions about Twin Vee since being hired. Here's what he had to say:
"As the new HR Manager at Twin Vee, I see my role as a vital bridge between our leadership team and employees. My primary mission is to advocate for both parties, ensuring that every employee feels heard and supported. My goal is for each employee to feel that they can come to me and know that I will try to navigate the best possible outcome for everyone.
| | | |
My professional journey spans various industries, including eight years in the airline sector, where I gained hands-on experience in roles ranging from boarding large commercial aircraft to management and human resources. Additionally, I served as an HR Director in the construction industry, worked as a Regional HR Business Partner in retail, and held a position as a Corporate Relations Manager in state government.
I joined Twin Vee honestly because of the feeling I got from the team that was involved in my interview process. From the first phone call, I felt comfortable with the team, which I think is kind of unique in today’s world. I got the early impression that they were genuinely good, honest, hard-working people who worked together as a team. This positive culture and dedication to the company truly stood out to me.
I am an avid home team fan! So don’t talk bad about the Celtics, Red Sox, or Patriots around me! I will play any Call of Duty or Battlefield games on PlayStation. I love spending time with my wonderful wife, lifting weights, tinkering with cars and electronics, going to the beach, and traveling around the Caribbean and Latin America.
Estoy feliz de estar aquí con todos ustedes y gracias por darme la bienvenida a la familia Twin Vee!!"
