Help support the Hour Children Holiday Program. Bring new, unwrapped gifts only . See the wish list HERE . Donation box in the lobby. This is the last Sunday to donate before we deliver the toys!
Share the Plate December: Hour Children

Our Share the Plate recipient for December is the Hour Children Center at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, whose mission is to nurture happy, healthy, and caring relationships between incarcerated mothers and their children. We collect throughout December. Visit fusw.org and click " Donate ," or bring a check on Sunday.

We invite new congregants to an informal conversation with our minister and key leaders so we can get to know each other, share our personal journeys, and answer questions about congregational life and membership. First Friday Lunch - New Date

First Friday Women's Lunch, Friday, Dec 13, 12:30pm
We will not meet the first Friday so we can attend the Senior Hall of Fame event celebrating Arlin and Sarita Roy, Jackie Tynes, and others. We will instead meet on the second Friday for our holiday celebration. Hospitality at the Grand Holiday Illumination, Saturday, Dec 14, 4:00 - 8:00pm, Untermyer Garden, 945 North B'way, Yonkers

Gratitudes

Caring for One Another

We ask every member to join the Caring Committee. Being on the committee just means that, if needed, you can give a ride, cook a meal, make a call, etc. Print out signup form HERE and check what you can offer. Midnight Run

Check back for upcoming dates in 2020. Meanwhile clear out your closets and donate CLEAN, gently-used, adult-size jeans, sweats, sweaters, shirts, coats, gloves, hats, and NEW (not white) men’s boxers, women's underwear, socks, and adult thermal underwear.
