Who Are You Grateful For?

This Sunday, June 19, is our traditional end-of-year Gratitude service, in which we recognize and thank the many people whose gifts of time, talent, hard work, and spiritual encouragement help to make FUSW a vibrant, thriving congregation. If there is someone you are grateful for that you would like us to recognize, please send their name and a brief description of their contribution to Rev. Arlin Roy ( by tomorrow, Friday, June 17, so that he can include them in the service.
It's Pledge Season!

It's time to make a commitment of financial support to this congregation for the next program year. It's easy! Email, with the subject line Pledge for 2022-23, and include your pledge amount in the message. We need all hands on deck this year, and that means friends as well as members. If you are a part of this community, partake in what we offer, and find it a valuable part of your life, please do the right thing and show your support. If you made a pledge last year and we don’t hear from you, we will assume that you want to make the same pledge this year. Click here for details about our pledge campaign.

This Young Adult classic follows 10-year-old Kenny Watson and his family on a road trip from Flint, MI, to Birmingham, AL, a journey that brushes against the bombing of a church, much like the tragic attack on Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist. All are welcome to our discussion! To learn more, contact Denise Woodin (
