Continuing Our Journey

It is "pledge season," time to let your congregation know of your continued financial support by making a pledge to the operating budget for the coming year. If FUSW has been here for you over the past year, we ask that you be here for our congregation’s future. It is your generosity that makes our community possible, so do what you can to ensure the future at FUSW is bright for all of us. Make your pledge before Sunday, April 18 by using the form on the link, or sending an email to telling us the amount of your pledge. A member of the finance committee or board may call in case you have any questions. Let's continue our journey - together! ~ Susan Greenberg, Treasurer

Come join us as we (safely) ready our beautiful land for spring! We need many hands to clean up fallen sticks and branches, shovel gravel back onto our driveway, and weed the gardens. Helping Hands for Refugees

FUSW members Marietta Api, and George and Sue McAnanama have signed on as Helping Hands community co-sponsors for Hearts and Homes for Refugees and Catholic Charities. They will be providing resources and funds to support 3 young people from El Salvador who were recently given asylum and are now living with a foster family in Yonkers. (We are keeping their names private to protect their safety.) The co-sponsors' first donation will be $500 to help the refugees get mattresses. Giving sanctuary takes many forms, and there will be many future needs for this family (including communication for these native Spanish speakers). We invite you to learn more and join us!
