Keep Your Eyes on the Prize... Hold On! , with special guest speaker Reggie Harris, Sunday, May 24, 10:30am
We are honored to welcome legendary songwriter, storyteller, and lecturer Reggie Harris as our guest worship speaker on May 24. Reggie performed at FUSW in September as part of our Common Ground Concert, and he returns to lead a service that asks "where do you find your hope?" Join us for a special journey into deeper thinking and self-awareness.
Share the Plate for May: Feeding Westchester

Feeding Westchester supplies 95 percent of all food distributed annually across the region’s food pantries. With so many out of work because of the pandemic, supporting Feeding Westchester is a great way for us to put love into action by putting food on the table of our neighbors in need. We collect for our Share the Plate partner throughout the month. Visit, click "Donate, " and select "Share the Plate."

Special Surprise Bridging Gift

Outdoor Signing of Gift Hymnals, Saturday, May 23, 12:00-2:00pm, FUSW
Our tradition is to give each of our graduating high school seniors a hymnal signed by our members. To do that this year, we will set out a table in front of the building with the three hymnals, pens, and hand sanitizer, and invite everyone to come sign one at a time as we all stay a safe distance. The hymnals will be presented to our seniors during the bridging worship on Sunday, May 31. Planning for Summer Services

Give a Community Talk

Do you have an interest or expertise you would like to share with your FUSW community? Volunteer to host a Zoom talk to share your knowledge! Possible topics include - but are not limited to - gardening, composting, stress-busting activities, sleep strategies, etc. Contact Rina ( ) with your idea, and she will work with you to prepare your talk.

Sew it Forward

Looking to help by creating some masks at home? This 1958 Singer Slantomatic sewing machine, rarely used, is available free to anyone who will come pick it up and agree to make a few face masks. Contact Becky Williams ( ).

Online Worship Needs You

Attention Gardeners

Whether you want a box to grow your own vegetables ($50) or just want to help with the community boxes (we donate our produce to the food pantry at South Presbyterian in Dobbs Ferry), we'd love to have you garden with us. (We will practice social distancing!) Contact Liz Loglisci ( ).

Midnight Run has an ongoing need for lunch bags, which they distribute to our neighbors who are homeless in NYC. Food Delivery Volunteers Needed

Contact Tracing Employment Opportunities

New York State plans to hire a team of 6,400 to 17,000 staff statewide to support the NYS Department of Health and local health departments perform contact tracing in communities across the state.
