There’s a Hands Off Day of Action Near You!
Saturday, April 5, 2025
On April 5th, individuals will be gathering in cities and towns across the country to speak out against the current dismantling of our democratic system of government and the threat to the protections for our most vulnerable citizens. Shuttering Social Security offices, firing essential workers, eliminating consumer protections, and gutting Medicaid--these actions are a direct challenge to the principles we hold as sacred.

"This is a book about love, friendship, and living up to expectations in contemporary America. It begins with a secret, then follows that secret through the lives of three different Black characters - from high school into adulthood - tracing its impact far beyond their Southern California youth." “A ferociously moving debut... bittersweet and morally fraught.” – The New York Times Book Review. "Fantastic… a book that feels alive on the page." – The Washington Post
