The Countdown has Begun!
FUSW's new space at 210 N Central Avenue in Hartsdale will be move-in ready in a few weeks! This is only our third "place of our own" in our 170-year history, and we are eager to begin making it our spiritual home, that its sheltering walls may be strong to keep hate out and hold love in.
If you are able, please consider making a donation to the congregation in honor of this new chapter. There's more information on the website, FUSW.org, or contact Susan Greenberg (fuswtreasurer@gmail.com) for details.

Reading Black Lives
Saturday, April 12, 1:15-2:45pm, Barnes Room, Hastings-On-Hudson Library
Now reading The Mothers, by Brit Bennett. Get your copy and join us! Learn more about the book and author by clicking here.
"This is a book about love, friendship, and living up to expectations in contemporary America. It begins with a secret, then follows that secret through the lives of three different Black characters - from high school into adulthood - tracing its impact far beyond their Southern California youth." “A ferociously moving debut... bittersweet and morally fraught.” – The New York Times Book Review. "Fantastic… a book that feels alive on the page." – The Washington Post

Donald Gallery Opening: "Fleeting Light"
Sunday, March 30, 11:30am, South Church Campus
Beauty is Where You Look for it in “Fleeting Light."
Sunday, March 30 marks the opening of the 2025 Spring Donald Gallery Show at South Church, featuring artist Rachel Weatherford Whitlow. Her “Fleeting Light” strives to find beauty in the catastrophic climate event of the Canadian forest fires by diving deep into the shifts of light and capturing the fleeting light.
Rachel’s work grows from a deep involvement with environmental causes and a desire to visually evoke a response with viewers that reflects our relationship with and love of natural landscapes.
