Voices Cafe welcomes the Kemp Harris Band on October 5th at 8pm!!
Westport Connecticut’s Voices Cafe is thrilled to have The Kemp Harris Group with us on October 5th at 8pm. Simply defying musical categorization, Kemp Harris moves effortlessly from blues to soul, stirring in jazz and a bit of folk, and these world class musicians just keep drawing us in, holding us enthralled all evening long! The Kemp Harris Group brings together amazing talent, for a genre-defying performance, from singer-songwriter Kemp Harris on piano and vocals, to Adam Osgood on harmonica and vocals, Brian Verrochi on bass, and Michael Caglionone on the saxophone and flute. Bill Huley of The Alternate Root & Extended Play Sessions recently said “That place was buzzing...a performance for the ages! What a night! Kemp is the real deal."
Click here for tickets and info.
At Voices Cafe music and social justice walk in harmony, with each concert benefiting social justice causes near and dear to our community. Our all-volunteer team, and its performing artists share a deep commitment to social justice. Voices Cafe’s concerts support social justice under the guidance of The Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport, whose programs include actively supporting racial justice, gender equity, immigration, refugee resettlement, literacy, reproductive rights, and food insecurity, among other issues.
