TA Tip: Shining a Spotlight on Infant & Toddler Caregivers

As educators of infants and toddlers, we play a critical role in a child’s educational journey, serving as their very first introduction to school. Did you know there’s a special endorsement in the credentialing system just for us? It’s called the Infant Toddler Endorsement!

Here’s how the New Hampshire Early Childhood Professional Development System Guidebook describes it:

"Designed to recognize professionals who work with or on behalf of our youngest and most vulnerable children, this credential lattice includes criteria for knowledge and experience specific to the infant and toddler field. Each of the five Infant and Toddler Endorsements builds upon a credential indicated by the ‘Required Early Childhood Credential.’ Awardees of the Infant and Toddler Credential Endorsements will see their infant and toddler designation on their Early Childhood Credential certificate awarded through the New Hampshire Early Childhood Professional Development System.” You can find more details, including the requirements to apply, in the Guidebook on pages 17-18: NH Early Childhood Professional Development Guidebook (Revised 2022).

Why apply for the Infant Toddler Endorsement?

By earning this endorsement, you can proudly showcase the incredible work you do with infants and toddlers every day. It’s a great way to highlight your dedication, expertise, and impact on the lives of our youngest learners.

CCAoNH is running its Credential Challenge from December 2024 through February 2025, and our TA team is ready to support you through the application process. Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your professional journey!
