Championships
NEW: Attendance at Fall Championships
As of April 8, all fall sports championships are allowing limited spectators. For cross country, football, men's soccer, and women's soccer, members can use their NAIA Membership Card for admittance. For women's volleyball, individuals should be able to use their NAIA Membership Card, but should contact the Tyson Events Center to confirm ticket availability. For attendance at opening rounds, contact the specific host site regarding availability.

Host sites that permit spectators must allow fans from both the home team and the visiting team to attend the event. Subject to capacity limitations, each institution will have the option to purchase (or make available to their supporters for purchase) tickets equal to four times the number of participants allowed in the Official Party. Additional tickets will be available for purchase if capacity allows.
NEW: St. Francis; Indiana Tech Win Bowling Championships
The University of St. Francis (Ill.) captured the inaugural Men's Bowling National Championship on March 27. The Saints defeated Martin Methodist (Tenn.) with the final mark of 192-167 in the fifth set.

On the women's side, Indiana Tech claimed the inaugural Women's Bowling National Championship by defeating Midland (Neb.). Indiana Tech was undefeated the entire championship tournament.
Upcoming Opening Round Host Deadlines
There are still opportunities to host an opening round this spring for baseball, and softball. The deadline is April 16.

Eligibility Center
NEW: Processing Begins for 2021-22 on May 1

May 1 marks the start of the eligibility center’s processing for the upcoming academic year. All students will begin receiving decisions for fall 2021 and your PlayNAIA Short List will default to the 2021-22 academic year.

Students in high school seeking a fall 2021 early decision will continue to have their decisions posted immediately upon receipt of their high school transcript with a qualifying GPA requirement. After May 1, students graduating high school in 2021 must submit a final high school transcript in order to receive an eligibility decision.

New PlayNAIA Fee for Transfer Students

The COP Committee on the Eligibility Center recently approved a new student type and fee level. The “transfer student” fee, which will apply to U.S. and Canadian students who have college enrollment after high school graduation, is $150 and will go into effect May 1, 2021. Fees for all existing student types (U.S. and Canadian freshmen, U.S. and Canadian break students, international students) remain unchanged.
