NEW: Register for new PlayNAIA Webinar
The eligibility center's technology team continues to make progress on the remaining issues with the new PlayNAIA website. To better understand the system fixes that have taken place since early June, we are offering a second webinar for our members. The same webinar will be offered on two dates:  Thurs., July 25, 11 a.m. (CT) and Friday, July 26, 1 p.m. (CT).

Each webinar is limited to 250 participants, so please register early. Due to limited space, if your campus has multiple participants, we encourage watching together as a group. A recording of the session will also be made available.

Championships
NAIA Marathon Under Review

The National Administrative Council (NAC) voted in June to suspend the marathon at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, pending further study of the event and the health and safety of its participants. A task force will review multiple options, some of which include:

  • How participants qualify
  • Marathon course
  • Moving the event to a another date and location
  • How to acclimatize student-athletes to be better prepared for the event

Feedback from membership is encouraged. Please contact one of the task force members to share your thoughts.

  • Russ Richardson, NAIA Director of Student-Athlete Health & Wellness
  • Hannah Harmon, NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Sport Manager
  • Mike Holman, Marian University Head Track Coach and President of the NAIA Track & Field Coaches Association

The task force recommendation will be heard by the NAC Executive Committee in August 2019.
