NEW: 2019-20 NAIA Handbook Available

The  NAIA Official Policy & Handbook   has been updated and is now available for download. 

Notable items include a major change to the Financial Assistance Bylaw, Article II, Section B, and a new, mid-year eligibility opportunity found in Article V, Section C, Item 5.
NEW: Fall Sports Webinar for Coaches
Join legislative services for the Fall Sports Webinar on Aug. 7, 2019 which will break down new bylaws, amendments, and policies for the 2019-20 season. Specific bylaw details that impact fall sports will be discussed.

NEW: NAIA Academy is Now Open

The NAIA Academy is open for the 2019-2020 academic year. S tudent-athletes must be registered by someone in the athletics department before they can access the NAIA Academy . They cannot register themselves. Please ensure student-athletes are registered for the academy in NAIAHelp before encouraging them to log in and complete courses.
 
If this is your first time registering student-athletes for the NAIA Academy please review the NAIA Academy Instructions and Information document first.  
 
Important Reminders:
Once registered, the student will receive an email with their username and the temporary password, NAIA2019. After logging in, they will be prompted to change their password. 

On July 15, previously registered students will receive an email from NAIA Academy providing them with their username. You can also find their username on your NAIA Academy student-athlete list in NAIAHelp. 

If a previously registered student needs their password, encourage them to use the "Forgot my Password" function on the home page of the NAIA Academy. The NAIA does not have access to NAIA Academy passwords.  
NEW: Learning Center Launches
NAIA Legislative Services launched the new NAIA Learning Center last week, which includes interactive, rules education courses specific to roles including athletic directors, FARs, registrars, and compliance administrators. While the Learning Center is easy-to-use, check out the   how-to video  and the user manual so you can hit the ground running.

NEW: Video of July PlayNAIA Webinar Now Available
The eligibility center offered a webinar for membership last week to better understand the system fixes that have taken place since early June. A video of this webinar is now available.

The eligibility center also recently sent instructions to student on how to send their U.S. transcripts. Please review and share the message with your recruits to ensure transcripts can be processed as quickly as possible.
