NEW: Lester Newman Elected COP Chair

Jarvis Christian College President Lester Newman was elected as the new chair of the Council of Presidents. Dr. Newman has been a member of the COP for five years and the COP Executive Committee for four years, as well as served as the chair of the audit review committee. He is the first president from a Historically Black College and University to serve as chair of the COP.
NEW: Remembering Bruce Parker

The NAIA mourns the loss of Bruce Parker, athletics director at both Rocky Mountain College (2014-2018) and Carroll College (2003-2014). An advocate for both the Frontier Conference and the NAIA, Bruce's contributions to collegiate athletics and the institutions he represented will continue to impact future generations of student-athletes. He will be greatly missed.
Changes to the Drug Education Program

Based on feedback from member institutions, the National Drug Testing and Education Committee has made some changes to the drug testing program for 2021-22. The goal is to provide more flexibility and autonomy to institutions as they determine the best way address drug education on their respective campuses. Click here for more details.

NEW: Bid Open for 2021 and 2022 Men's Soccer National Championship
The NAIA is opening the men's soccer national championship for bids with a deadline of July 31, 2021. Early bid submissions are strongly encouraged. This bid will be for both the 2021 and 2022 national championship events.

More than 9,000 students registered with PlayNAIA in June, which is a new record! You can help support student-athletes through the eligibility process by:

  • Encouraging recruits to register with the center as early as possible.
  • Assisting students in monitoring their status completing their activity lists on PlayNAIA. 
  • Completing any tasks assigned to you, if any.
 
Students who take action now will greatly improve their ability to gain eligibility without delays for the fall term.

Year-end ROA data collection system opens Monday, July 12

Schools can begin submitting their 2020-21 year-end report information starting Monday, July 12. The deadline to finalize the data is December 1.
