NEW: Statement from the Association of Student-Athletes
The Association for Student-Athletes (ASA) released the following statement last week:

"The purpose of the NAIA Association of Student-Athletes is to provide a platform to our fellow student-athletes to foster growth, support, and success through our core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership. With that culture comes an intolerance to racism or discrimination of any kind. We, as the ASA, proudly stand with our black brothers and sisters in solidarity. We hear you. We support you. We will fight with you. We are #NAIATogether.”
NEW: Schedule Creep Survey for Student-Athletes
Several NAIA groups are evaluating the structure and length of the regular season, often referred to as “schedule creep.” Representatives of the Council of Faculty Athletics Representatives, Council for Student-Athletes, Athletics Directors Association, and Conference Commissioners Association have created a survey to understand the impact of the traditional season structure on student-athletes regarding academic performance, missed class time, physical health, mental and emotional well-being, and overall experience.

We would appreciate the sharing of this survey link with your student-athletes, as their feedback will help inform this national study.
NEW: Ruffalo Noel Levitz COVID-19 Survey
The national office partnered with Ruffalo Noel Levitz, CampusESP, and Cappex on research about how COVID-19 impacted college planning for parents of high school juniors and seniors. Three-quarters of student-athlete parents reported that COVID-19 did not change their child’s plans to compete in college in the future. To access the full report, click here .
