Health and Wellness
Video for NAIA Student-Athletes
The Council for Student-Athletes (CSA) and the Association of Student-Athletes (ASA), in conjunction with NAIA President and CEO Jim Carr, produced a video specifically for NAIA student-athletes. The message is intended to encourage and support our student-athletes as they process complex emotions related to sports and life in our current environment.

The ASA and CSA have been working to develop the associations’ concept of Student-Athlete Well-Being: Together at the Core. More about this concept will be shared this summer.
Mental Health Services Available
The office of student-athlete development has identified mental health resources to support student-athletes during these unprecedented times. A list of licensed clinical social workers that provide low or no-cost services to NAIA student-athletes has been identified through the Alliance of Social Wor kers in Sports. This list creates an opportunity to utilize tele-health to receive appropriate professional assistance.
