NOVEMBER 25 (Noon)-27: NAIA national office and eligibility center closed for Thanksgiving.

DECEMBER 1: Year-End Report Submission Deadline. New data pertaining to Return on Athletics® will be required. Click here for more information.

DECEMBER 15: Deadline for transcripts to be received for students who need an eligibility center decision prior to the holiday closure.

DECEMBER 24-JANUARY 3: NAIA national office closed and eligibility center will offer limited services for winter holiday.

JANUARY 15: The eligibility center will begin requiring an InCred evaluation for all international document submissions. Contact [email protected] with questions.

NEW: COVID Q&A Forum for Members on Friday, November 20

A COVID Q&A Forum specifically for NAIA members will be hosted on Friday, November 20 at 11 a.m. Central. The panel will include two members of the NAIA's Medical Advisory Panel - James Borchers, M.D., M.P.H. and Chad Asplund, M.D., M.P.H. - who will answer COVID-related medical questions pertaining to college athletics.

NEW: Name, Image and Likeness Legislative Brief Now Available

The recently passed Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) legislation has a significant impact on our student-athletes. The NAIA Legislative Services department has put together an NIL Legislative Brief to help answer questions and provide scenarios to illustrate the effect of NIL. Questions? #GivingTuesday Run for Character Virtual 5k

To raise money for the Champions of Character® Foundation, the NAIA is hosting a Run for Character Virtual 5k with the goal of raising $2,000. Registration is open and the 5k has to be competed by December 4. You can check out the event video here.
Demo Videos Now Available to Assist with Year-end Report Data Submission

The new format for the NAIA's Year-end Report, which is due on December 1, 2020, will require additional data related to the NAIA's Return on Athletics® initiative. Three new videos are now available for members to help navigate the new submission process:

NEW: PlayNAIA Enhancements Released November 13

The eligibility center released enhancements to PlayNAIA on November 13. Specific information about the enhancements is available in the release notes. Highlights of this release include: Athletics Compliance Administrators have the ability to submit appellate requests; transcript task details include a list of documents received for that school and whether they are usable or not; and updates to support the InCred requirement that goes into effect January 15, 2021.  


December 1 Application Cancellations

All fall 2020 eligibility applications that are not yet in line for review will be cancelled on December 1. Please encourage your student-athletes to complete all active tasks as soon as possible. See the Oct. 28 eligibility center update for more details.
