NEW: Proposed Legislation Due Jan. 19, 2021

All proposed amendments to the NAIA Constitution or Bylaws must be submitted to the NAIA national office by Jan. 19, 2021. Proposed amendments will be voted on at the national convention in April 2021.

Email proposals to [email protected] no later than Jan. 19, 2021. The national office will contact you to confirm receipt of your proposal.
NEW: Director of Student-Athlete Development Hired

Dr. Robert Greim has been hired as the NAIA Director of Student-Athlete Development. Robert has over 20 years in athletic administration, spanning the areas of student-athlete wellness and development, compliance, and academic support. Robert has extensive experience in student-athlete development, including building and launching Life Skills programs at two different universities. Most recently, Robert served as the Associate AD for Compliance & Eligibility Service at Southeast Missouri State University, as well as teaching in the College of Education, Health and Human Services. 
NEW: CCA RISE Partners with MOAA

The Conference Commissioners Association (CCA) announced a partnership between the CCA Respect, Inclusivity, Support, and Education (RISE) initiative and the Minorities Opportunities in Athletics Association (MOAA) in offering two lunch-and-learn programs specifically focused on career opportunities in the NAIA. NEW: #GivingTuesday Run for Character
Virtual 5k

To raise money for the Champions of Character® Foundation, the NAIA is hosting a Run for Character Virtual 5k with the goal of raising $2,000. Registration is open and the 5k has to be competed by December 4. You can check out the event video here.

Eligibility Center
NEW: December 1 Application Cancellations

All fall 2020 eligibility applications that are not yet in line for review will be cancelled on December 1. Please encourage your student-athletes to complete all active tasks as soon as possible. See the Oct. 28 eligibility center update for more details.

As a reminder, high school transcripts are required to be submitted via the NAIA High School Portal. They are not accepted through any other method. Thank you for your assistance in ensuring all coaches and administrators are aware of this policy.

NEW: Athletics in the Era of COVID-19 Webinar
As the pandemic continues, institutions are developing processes and protocols for athletes to safely return to their sport. Husch Blackwell and The U.S. Council for Athletes’ Health are monitoring changes to provide the most current information and best practices for return to winter sports from COVID-19 and will host a webinar on Friday, Nov. 13 at Noon-1 p.m. CST.
