NEW: Fall Meeting Recap
The NAIA Fall Meetings took place September 29-30 in Kansas City, Mo. The Council of Presidents, Athletics Directors Association, and Conference Commissioners Association all took part. For more information, check out the Fall Meetings Recap .  
NEW: Lynn Parman hired as NAIA COO
The NAIA recently hired Lynn Parman as the association's new Chief Operating Officer. Parman has over 23 years of leadership experience in non-profit, regional economic development, and for-profit organizations. Most recently, Parman was vice president of business development in Kansas City for McCownGordon Construction. Prior to McCownGordon, Parman served as president & CEO of the American Royal Association where she directed a team of volunteers and staff to host nationally recognized competitive events, and provide education and scholarship programs to youth from around the country.
NEW: College Football Celebrates 150 Years
2019 is the 150th anniversary of collegiate football and the NAIA is taking part in this national celebration of all collegiate football programs. The CFB150 campaign will be promoted throughout the football season, with November 4-8 designated as "CFB150 Week." The NAIA encourages all our football programs to participate and is offering resources s pecific to our institutions.

NEW: NAC Marathon Decision
After suspending the marathon event in June due to health and safety concerns, the National Administrative Council (NAC) decided to continue to offer the marathon as a national championship event, contingent upon the adoption of additional regulations . The NAC also determined that the marathon will be reviewed annually to ensure that student-athlete health and wellness remains a top priority.

Now that the shot clock reset has been changed to 20 seconds, please ensure table crews are familiar with the most current guidelines.

Several new safety rules have been implemented for men's lacrosse.

NAIA Basketball Hub
Basketball coaches may register for the NAIA Basketball Hub, which provides access to the latest training videos and the same rule interpretations that are used by officials.

Eligibility
NEW: Current Eligibility Center Term is Now Spring 2020
As of October 1, the current term for the eligibility center has been updated to spring 2020. Spring 2019 high school graduates who register and pay moving forward, are considered break students and will be required to pay the “break” fee of $135. Freshmen students whose applications were cancelled and need to reapply will only need to pay $45, which is the difference between the “no break” and “break” fees.
