NEW: Champions of Character ® Five-Star Award Winners Announced, New Scorecard Available
Congratulations to the 180 Champions of Character Five-Star Institution winners . There were 63 gold winners , 75 silver winners  and 42 bronze winners . NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Conference Awards were earned by 16 NAIA Conferences .

The Champions of Character Scorecard measures a commitment to character training, academic focus, character promotion, conduct in competition, and character recognition on a scale of 0-100 points. Award levels are based on the number of points earned: gold (90-100 points), silver (75-89 points) and bronze (60-74 points).

NEW: Soccer Ejection and Suspension Protests
The NAIA has seen an increase in the number of protests filed regarding soccer ejections and suspensions. Before filing a protest, please watch this video , which outlines the proper procedure. (If a protest needs to be filed, please use the NAIA-specific form .)

Eligibility
NEW: Voucher Option Ends Sept. 27; Annual Cancellations Begin Oct. 1
  • The ability to vouch for a student will conclude on Sept. 27, meaning institutions will no longer have the ability to enter a new voucher in NAIAHelp. Students who are already entered in ECP as being vouched for by Sept. 27 can continue with a voucher, provided they meet the stipulations.

  • Beginning Oct. 1, annual cancellations (previously referred to as inactivations) will begin for students with fall 2019 applications for fall sports. Cancellations will only affect students who are registered for fall sports and have taken no recent action in PlayNAIA. See the Sept. 9 eligibility center update for more details.

  • The relaxed fee waiver policy, originally slated to end in August, has been extended through October. See the August eligibility center tech update for details.

NEW: NAIA Extends Partnership with Fine Designs
The NAIA announced a four-year extension of its partnership with  Fine Designs  as the association’s official apparel provider for NAIA championship events.
