The time has come to release our first ever Scout Experience: Student Stories video! Due to the current restrictions on large gatherings, we are not able to welcome our 8th graders and their families into the building as we have for the last several years. While we will miss the opportunity to meet you in person and show you how proud we are of our school and all of the opportunities that we provide, we wanted to be sure your family could share this experience - virtually! Linked here is the Scout Experiences: Student Stories video. This video, conceived and produced by students in our New Media class (under the guidance of teacher Mr. Douglass and student leader Ms. Lauren Fabbri), will allow our LFHS students to share a few of the opportunities that await your student. Just as the curriculum videos were designed to be informative and provide details about departments and course offerings, the Scout Experience: Student Stories is designed to inspire and excite your students about becoming Scouts next year.

Extra-curricular Activities Interest Survey

Lake Forest High School is committed to providing experiences that engage students physically, socially, and creatively. Many of our students spoke about these experiences in their stories. Linked here is an Interest Survey listing all activities and athletics available to LFHS students. Putting a check next to things that may be of interest to your student will generate a list that coaches and sponsors use to reach out and offer more information. Scout Experience: Town Hall

On Thursday, January 28 at 7pm, LFHS will present Scout Experience: Town Hall. The link to the live stream event is here. This will be an opportunity to hear a general overview of the registration process as well as details about extra-curricular activities from Mr. Tim Burkhalter, Athletic Director, and Ms. Ashleigh Malec, Activities Director. Following the Athletics and Activities presentations, we will respond to questions that have been submitted by families of the Class of 2025. During this Q & A, student moderators Will Elliott and Joey Nassar will pose most frequently asked questions to the appropriate Administrator. If time does not permit us to reply to every question, families can expect a response from an LFHS professional with an answer or more information.
