The Scratching Post Vol. 9
Issue #9 of the Scratching Post. In this issue, we are building out a mobile power washing system on a truck body. We take a cost analysis of NOT owning a floor scrubber. Amanda gives us the How-to on applying a ceramic coating. Then we take a look at the Landa MHC power washer. New this month, we will have a meet the staff section where we introduce the members of the team.
In the Work Shop
This customer needed a rig that they could use to wash down parking garages. We had to source a low profile tank that could fit through the low garages and a trailer was just not an option for the tight spaces. They wanted a 2 person crew to run a surface cleaner and a rinse wand at the same time so we used a Landa PGHW hot water pressure washer that puts out 8 Gallons per minute at 3000psi.

Cougar's Blog
In this blog, we will look at cost analysis for floor scrubbers including ROI (Return On Investment). When determining the cost of keeping your floors clean you will need to plug in the method of cleaning, i.e. mop and bucket or floor scrubber, the area your cleaning and the frequency that you clean along with the cost of your employee.

How To
This month, Amanda takes us through the process of applying a ceramic coating, Optimum Gloss Coat to her truck.

She chose the ceramic because the increased protection and the longevity of the product.

The process is simple and she was able to complete the install in an afternoon.

Hard Steel
The MHC is the most rugged, gasoline-powered, hot water, on-site cleaning machine on wheels featuring a unique blend of quality, safety, serviceability, and extra stability.

There are six MHC models to choose from; three models feature electric start.

Meet the Staff!
A new Section for this month, we will introduce the staff. This month, say hi to Billy, the owner and CEO of Cougar Chemical
