  • Allow yourself to let go of some of the adult stresses and “shoulds” of the holiday season. Enter more fully into the Advent season by pausing to reflect on this theme of "A Child Shall Lead" in this year's ecumenical, contemplative Advent Evening of Prayer.   • Lisieux House is a house for women ages 18-35 who are focused on building intentional community in Christ. Located in North Seattle we pray night prayer, have a weekly community dinner, and monthly mass together.   • We will carpool from the Mariner Park n Ride near 128th in Everett at 8am. We will return in two groups, first group at 3pm and second group at 6-7pm after the Christmas tree lighting at 5pm. The drive will take about 2 hours.

YOUNG ADULT ADVENT SMALL GROUPS

  • Join us for a 4-week Advent small group series on Sunday evenings in December. These meetings will include potluck snacks and fellowship time followed by an Advent devotional and Scripture study. Join us as we get to know each other better and help one another dive deeper into the Advent season and anticipation of Christ's birth. Contact April for more information and locations.

  • Young Adult Men's Bible Study happening each Sunday at 7 pm at the Barkley Woods. It will be about the Kerygma, starting with Genesis. It will take about 5-6 weeks to complete but who knows where the Holy Spirit might take it. Hope to see you there!
REGION II • NORTH SEATTLE + SOUTH SEATTLE + EASTSIDE

  • You all are invited to attend a movie that will only be out in theaters for one day. It's a docudrama on St. Faustina and will be showing at the Regal Bella Bottega 11 Cinema in Redmond. If you'd like to attend, please purchase a ticket through this link.

  • Join the St. Joe's young adult community for family style dinners every other week (late October through February). The October/November Soulful Soups will take place in the social hall at 7 p.m. on 10/28, 11/11, and 11/25 (Friendsgiving!). You are welcome to bring a drink, side, or salad to share.   • Join Br. Paschal on Wednesdays for a study of the beginning of salvation history in the book of Genesis. Reading Genesis raises many questions on how to understand the stories of creation and the ancient history of the world. Let's read the text and discuss what the book is trying to teach us as well as how it connects to the rest of scripture and our Faith.   • The 7th annual All Seattle Catholic Young Adult Christmas Party is here!! This year the party will be in our beautiful newly expanded Newman Center! MOM'S GROUP

  • Gathering in the portables of St. Andrew's, Building E, Moms of all ages and their little ones are welcome to attend. We support one another, enjoy motherhood fellowship, loosely discuss a book or spiritual reading, share prayer intentions, and let the kids play. A volunteer caregiver is typically present so that Moms can enjoy this time with one another. Its very casual and kids are free to come and go from the meeting room to the nursery.   • Young Adults (age 18+) are invited to enter into the Advent season by participating in a small faith sharing group. We’ll use Rejoice! Advent Meditations with Joseph that will enrich your Advent by inviting you to experience the first Advent with Joseph and Mary, as they await the birth of their son, the Savior of the world.   • The purpose of Roots is to give young adults in the area an opportunity to be together, to meet new people, and to discover the love and the call of Jesus more deeply.
