TAKE YOUR PLACE AT ST. JOHN'S

How might God be calling you to Take Your Place at St. John’s? Whether you already know where you feel drawn to serve or are still discerning, we have resources to help you explore.

Start with our 2026 Ministry Booklet and Fall Parish Calendar, then complete the Take Your Place form to tell us which ministries interest you, ask for help finding a place to get involved, or take the Spiritual Gifts Assessment to consider where your gifts might be put to good use.

Email Scam Alert

Recently, fake emails claiming to be from Fr. Chris and other St. John’s staff have been sent to parishioners. These messages often ask for “help,” a “discreet request,” or unusual questions about parish directory information. They are scams. Please do not reply or click any links—simply mark the message as spam in your email program (such as Outlook or Gmail) and delete it. Remember that official St. John’s emails will always come from an @stjohnstampa.org or @stjohnseagles.org address. Because of the way email works—specifically the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) that underlies email—it is unfortunately impossible to completely prevent spoofed messages from being sent. For that reason, reporting them to the church does not help stop them. The best thing you can do is mark the message as spam in your email program and delete it. Thank you for helping us keep our parish community safe.
