United States of America Celebrating 250 Years of Independence
No matter where we are on the political spectrum, we are a nation where we are able to celebrate and worship our God and Savior Jesus Christ with religious freedom. Members are invited to wear our nation’s colors on Sunday to celebrate this wonderful occasion and we hope everyone enjoyed the July 4 weekend!
Vestry Investor Spotlight This Week: Megan Miller
This week we would like to spotlight Megan Miller as our investor of the week. Megan Miller sings in our choir, serves on the Altar Guild, is a member of the Buildings and Grounds Committee, Tea Time Committee, and St. Martha’s Guild. Megan gives so much of herself to the life and vitality of the parish and we are very blessed with all she contributes at ECA, thank you Megan for investing in the life of the parish.
ECW Meeting Date Change: Not meeting this Sunday due to holiday. ECW Meeting July 12 at Noon. All Ladies Welcome! Episcopal Church Women meet monthly on the first Sunday of the month in the Activities Building. Activities and Events are planned throughout the month. ECW 'Food for Thought' dates for July are: Lunch on Thursday, July 16 at noon at Jessa’s Tea Parlor on Trickum (Reservations due by July 12 to Janice) and Dinner on Tuesday, July 28 at 6:00 at Bad Daddy’s on Sandy Plains Road.
ECA Reach Collecting Canned Goods for the Ministries we Support
ECA Supports Encompass Ministries and Never Alone by donating canned goods and non-perishables. Please bring donations on Sunday and place them in the baskets provided. During these difficult times these items are greatly needed.
Mark Your Calendar: ECA Events to celebrate our upcoming 40th Anniversary Join us in celebrating our 40th year as ECA! Activities and Events are scheduled throughout the coming year. All are invited to join us on August 23rd for a Family Service and Fun Day at Lake Allatoona. You are also invited to an Anniversary Cruise on Royal Caribbean (5 Night Western Caribbean) September 21-26. We will be apple picking and wine tasting in North Georgia (transportation available) on October 3rd. Other events include an Investors Dinner on January 30th, an ECA cookbook and the big finale 'All Church Celebration' on April 24th. We are honored to continue this journey with you all!
