Stewardship Season is Here!

Watch your mail for a letter from ECA Senior Warden, Matt Reaves. This letter will ask how you can prayerfully give of your time, talent and treasure to walk with ECA as we follow Jesus in the ministry of serving others. In the coming weeks, you will hear the stories and testimonies of others who have been touched by the generosity of ECA, as they "Tell out my soul" the faithfulness of the Lord. Thank you for supporting the ministry of ECA in the coming year.

Altar Guild training on Saturday, October 18 in two different Training Times If you are interested in joining the Altar Guild, or even just want to find out what it involves, please join us. There will be two 90-minute sessions offered: 9am-10:30, and 11am-12:30. You would only need to attend one of the sessions. All current members need to attend one of the training times listed. If unable to attend due to a conflict, a make up day will be scheduled so that all new and current members can receive continued training in this important worship ministry. Thank You!

October is the Cathy Norris Food Drive! Bring Donations to church on Sunday Every October, ECA Reach hosts an annual food drive in honor of Cathy Norris. This year the ministries we support have asked for the following items: Canned goods, sugar, peanut butter & jelly (no glass please), cooking oil, salad dressings, mayo, corned beef, spam, pancake mix, mac-n-cheese, grits, cereal, shelf stable milk, pasta, toilet paper, laundry detergent, toothpaste & toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products. See list in the narthex. Thank you for giving!

All Saints Day is November 2. Please turn in names of loved one who have passed to be included on this day. Forms are available in the Narthex. You may also email names to ecaparish@gmail.com.

Southern Comforters to meet Sunday at noon in Activities Building

All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends.  This ministry meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the activities building. 

ECW ‘Food for Thought’ Dinner on Tues, Oct. 21 at 5pm. All Ladies Welcome!

All Ladies are invited to dinner on Tuesday, the 21st at 5:00 at the Tokyo Boat at 4750 Hwy 92 (next to Publix at Sandy Plains Road). Contact Janice Maxwell to RSVP or learn more. 

Reach Serving Dinner at Shady Grove Wednesday, October 22 at 4:30pm

All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministry in preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4th Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church. We meet at the church at 4:30pm to prepare then carpool down.
