Stewardship Season is Here!

This week, we will hear a testimony from own own Jane Gray. Jane has been at ECA over 14 years. Jane will share how she has been blessed by the time, talent and treasure of this parish over the years, and most recently during the difficult season she has journeyed through with the loss of her husband, Don. Be sure to listen to Jane's story as she follows the stewardship campaign theme of 'Tell out my soul". Please continue to prayerfully consider how you too can give of your time, talent and treasure at ECA.

October is the Cathy Norris Food Drive! Bring Donations to church on Sunday Every October, ECA Reach hosts an annual food drive in honor of Cathy Norris. This year the ministries we support have asked for the following items: Canned goods, sugar, peanut butter & jelly (no glass please), cooking oil, salad dressings, mayo, corned beef, spam, pancake mix, mac-n-cheese, grits, cereal, shelf stable milk, pasta, toilet paper, laundry detergent, toothpaste & toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products. See list in the narthex. Thank you for giving!

Christian Formation Updates: Note changes in schedule for all classes ECA Children/Youth Christian Formation will meet this Sunday and include the Youth Breakfast. Note that Youth CF will not meet next Sunday, October 19. Bible Challenge and Current Topics CF will not meet this week, October 12, but will resume next week. Will resume next week.

ECA Reach Ministry to meet Sunday at Noon in Activities Building Come see what in-reach and out-reach ministry is all about at ECA. Typically meeting on the Second Sunday of each month after the 10:30am Service.

‘Triple F’: Octoberfest This Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 6:30pm What are your prayers of the people? Join us for an Octoberfest themed Faith, Food & Fellowship this month with a meal followed by a program where you will learn to write your own unique Prayers of the People. You won’t wan to miss it! Wed., Oct 15 at 6:30pm in Activities Bldg.

Cultured Pearls Book Club to Meet this Thursday, Oct. 16 at 2pm Cultured Pearls Book Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at 2pm. Contact Lillian Stanton for more information. Books listed on the ECA calendar.

All Saints Sunday name Dedications to Remember our Loved Ones

All Saints Sunday is quickly approaching (11/2). This is a day we set apart to remember our loved ones who have passed on. "The day is set aside to remember and commend the saints of God". Email your All Saints names to be printed in the bulletin to ecaparish@gmail.com or fill out a form in the Narthex on Sunday.
