Greening of the Church This Sunday after the 10:30 Service followed by Brunch

All are invited to join ECA for this annual tradition of decorating the church for Christmas – Brunch Reception to follow the Greening.  All are Welcome!

Children/Youth Christian Formation (Sunday School) to meet This Sunday

The Children/Youth meet on the first and third Sunday of each month for CF. All Children are welcome! To learn more, contact Cheryl Farr or Lily Lippert.

Year-to-Date Giving Statements Available in Narthex

Year to date (as of last week) giving statements have been printed and are in the Narthex for you to review. Thank you to all who pledge! It allows us to operate within our budget for the year and be the hands and feet of Christ!

Calling all Children and Youth! It’s time for the Annual Christmas Pageant

We need children to read parts of our Christmas Pageant as well as simply dress as a character and be on ‘stage’. If your children and/or grandchildren are interested, please contact Cheryl Farr or Lilly Lippert. ‘Tis the season! 

NO Southern Comforters in December – resuming in January

Souther Comforters typically meets on the third Sunday of each month after services. All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends.  

Christmas Poinsettias and Flower Contributions now being accepted. If you would like to make a contribution for Christmas poinsettias, greens, etc. please fill out a flower form in the Narthex. Simply indicate whether your gift is "in memory of" or "in thanksgiving for." The amount is voluntary (suggested donation $30). Thank you for your gift!

NO Buildings and Grounds in December. Will resume in January The Buildings and Grounds Committee will not meet in December. Thank you all all your hard work and support his year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Please join us on the fourth Monday of each month starting in January 2026. See George MacDonald to learn more or volunteer.

Reach to Serve at Shady Grove Christmas Eve (Wed. December 24) at 4:30pm All are invited to join the ECA Reach ministryin preparing and delivering a meal to the homeless population every 4 Wednesday of the month at Shady Grove Baptist Church.  We meet at the church at 4:30pm to preparethen carpool down. Travel Sized toiletries are also being collected for this outreach.  

Tickets for the 12th Annual Ladies Tea on Sale Now!  Tickets will be available this Sunday in the breezeway after the service. Tickets are $25 each and will be available every Sunday between services and after the 10:30. Everyone is welcome, including young adults over the age of 10. We look forward to welcoming you to another fun and delicious tea on February 7  at 2:00 pm in the Activities building. Remember, tickets would make a great stocking stuffer!

Vestry Nominations Open for 2026: Please Prayerfully Consider Serving

Those interested in serving on Vestry at ECA, please contact Fr. Paul. Vestry is a 3- year commitment with a retreat in January. Vestry qualifications are: any confirmed

Communicant in good standing of the parish not less than 18yrs of age, a regular attendant of church services the preceding year before election, and known by the treasurer to have made and fulfilled a stated financial commitment for church support throughout preceding year before election.
