| | If you won’t be able to join us, you can still make an impact by supporting in another way. | | Giving Back: The Power of Kindness and Generosity | | |
Giving back is one of the simplest ways to make a difference. Whether it’s your time, a donation, or a kind word, every little act helps someone in need. Supporting a cause you care about doesn’t just help others, it makes your community stronger and brings people together. When we give, we show gratitude for what we have and share hope with others.
Even small actions matter. Volunteering, donating, or offering support can brighten someone’s day and create a ripple of kindness. This season, let’s focus on giving, being thankful, and spreading kindness. Together, we can make a real difference.
Your gifts make change possible. They help us continue the programs that support people and transform lives.
On December 2nd 2025 Give Hope This Giving Tuesday. Your support matters.
Every gift, big or small, helps provide care, resources, and support to people who need it most.
Join us in spreading hope—donate today at springboardmd.org/donate.
| | Building Tomorrow Today: The Youth Training Center Groundbreaking | | |
Since 1849, Springboard Community Services (SCS) has supported families, children, and adults throughout Central Maryland with prevention, intervention, counseling, and advocacy services.
We are excited to announce the redevelopment of two historic buildings in downtown Baltimore into the Springboard Youth Training Center (YTC)—a new community facility designed to help youth ages 18–24 transition successfully into adulthood.
This 21,000 square-foot, $18M project will serve youth experiencing homelessness and will be the first of its kind in Maryland.
YTC Program Highlights: Empowering Baltimore Youth
Housing: Short-term housing with 14 dorms (25 beds), six permanent supportive housing units, and housing navigation support.
Holistic Case Management: One-on-one support, life-skills training, crisis intervention, financial planning, and parenting guidance—meeting each young person where they are.
Job Readiness: Workforce development, vocational training, communication skills, and support for continuing education.
Behavioral Health & Wraparound Support: Comprehensive mental health services with goals to increase engagement by 50%, reduce violent relationships by 30%, and decrease street-related victimization by 40%.
In October 2025, SCS officially broke ground on the YTC. We will be celebrating this milestone throughout the season, culminating at the Holiday Gala, where we’ll honor our progress and the hope this project brings to Baltimore City. Learn more about the YTC: Visit Our Official Website

We truly appreciate their time, support, and willingness to connect with our team. Visits like this help strengthen partnerships and ensure we’re all working together to support individuals and families across Carroll County.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and building even stronger community relationships.
